BBC Micro to PC Conversion
I had an old BBC micro computer stored in my Attic. I got it out on the odd occasion and powered it up. I have fond memories of the BBC micro and thought that it would be a great shame if it was left in my attic gathering dust.
I removed the circuit boards from the case, leaving just the case and the keyboard. I then installed a micro ITX motherboard in the case.
I needed to convert the BBC keyboard to enable it to connect to the ITX motherboard as well. I got a motherboard with USB, PS2, parallel and serial interfaces, which will enabled me to use the computer for interfacing with future and past projects.
